Bids and Awards

CREATING THE BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC), APPOINTING/DESIGNATING ITS MEMBERS AND SECRETARIAT PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF RA 9184 AND ITS IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATION (IRR) PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFORE.

    WHEREAS, LGU’s are mandated to implement the provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) in line with the Government’s commitment to good governance and it’s effort to adhere to the principles of transparency, equity, efficiency, and economy in procurement process;

    WHEREAS, Section 11, Rule V of IRR provides that LGU’s shall establish a Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) that shall undertake the procurement process covering infrastructure projects, goods and consulting services.

    WHEREAS, Section 11.2.2 Rule V of IRR provides for the composition and manner of selection of the officer of the BAC;

    NOW THEREFORE, I MADELAINE ALFELOR-GAZMEN, City Mayor of Iriga, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create the BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC) and appoints/designates its composition as follows:
