January 4 - INOROGAN FIESTA

Commemorates the miraculous escape of the early inhabitants of Iriga from the eruption of Mt. Sumagang in 1614.

February 11 - TINAGBA FESTIVAL

This is an ancient celebration of the thanksgiving. A traditional first harvest offering, coinciding with the Feast Day of OUR LADY of LOURDES. Bullcarts, gaily decorated and laden with fresh farm produce and revelers in mardi-gras costumes parade around the city’s main streets and end at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto grounds where the offerings are made. This is Irigueños sign of thanksgiving to God for the bountiful harvest and immeasurable blessings.

June 13- CITY PINTAKASI

The annual fiesta is celebrated in honor of St. Anthony of Padua, whom fellow Francciscan Fray Bartolome Ruiz and Pablo de Jesus, installed as Iriga’s Patron Saint in 1683 when Iriga Became a Municipality

April - LENT, GOOD FRIDAY - STREET PASSION PLAY

Pag-Tangal— This is the re-Enacment of the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is celebrated at the Calvario Hill.
Started in 1979, the play staged by local youth performers, recreates the passion of Jesus Christ along the city’s main streets and ends with the crucifixion scene at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto.

September 3- FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY AND RECOGNITION DAY

Observed with the awarding of the annual Sumagang Awards, the highest civilian award the city bestows on its outstanding citizens, and a traditional military; majorette, drum and bugle corps competition.

December - PASKO SINI-PASKO SITON

A month-long extravaganza that features various activities such as: Parol(Lantern) Contest and Parade: Belen Contest; cultural shows, pista sa Nayon, Food Fair; Simbang Gabi (Midnight Mass); etc... The celebration seeks to promote the essence of what Christmas is - love, joy, sharing.
