The local government unit (LGU) of Iriga City intensified its campaign against criminality by installing new closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera units along the city proper and other strategic places to secure the safety of constituents and visitors. These newly installed CCTV units amounting to P3 million is the first batch expected to assure the constituents and visitors of their safety.  Iriga City Mayor Ronald Felix Alfelor said the CCTV cameras will be operating 24 hours, and will be monitored by the Philippine National Police (PNP) here.
