No organization nor a country can be ruled without its people having a healthy mind, a healthy body and a healthy soul.
The Iriga City Health Office is envisioned to keep all Iriguenos as healthy as possible.
The project sa IriGANG-MAGayon, ALAGA KA has for its main objective targets the indigent constituents know their entitlements and how to use them.
Four programs were created by the CHO namely:
- Primary Care Benefit Package Accreditation which seeks to improve the access of Phllhealth members and their dependents to quality health care services through enhanced guidleines in engaging the ICHP in implementing the NHIP.
- Animal Bite Treatment Center Accreditation which is in support of the National Rabies Prevention and Control Program of the Department of Health. This program includes payment for treatment due to bites of dogs, domestic and livestock animals such as cats, pigs, horses, goats and wild animals like bats and monkeys.
- TB-DOTS Accreditation which is aimed to ensure that delivery of health care services to achieve the desired health outcomes and member satisfaction.
- Iriga City Birthing Home Accreditation in support of the country’s effort at reducing maternal and child mortality. Philhealth encourages nonhospital facility to participate in its Maternity Care and Newborn Care packages.
A technical working has been created with the Philhealth Technical Working Group and conducted a massive barangay campaign which included enlistment, profiling of Philhealth members and their dependents and distribution of Member Data Records.
