Last July 17-23, the City Government of Iriga, headed by Hon. City Mayor Madelaine Y. Alfelor, celebrated the 39th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week. The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) spearheaded the week-long celebration. Together with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Unit for Sports, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), they have set up activities for the PWDs. Some of the activities include registration for PWDs, livelihood and employment consultation, free haircut, screening for those with cleft lip, palate, clubfoot, and those in need of prosthesis, medical and dental check-up, and vaccinations.
