The Iriga City LGU was awarded the top regional awards at the 9th Bicol Organic Agriculture Congress by the Department of Agriculture held at the Villa Caceres Hotel in Naga city on November 7, 2016.

Iriga City clinched the 2016 QUALITY CORN ACHIEVERS AWARD for the following categories:

Outstanding City Category: Iriga City Government

Outstanding City Agriculturist Category: Mr. Ruben S. Delos Santos

Outstanding Agricultural Extension Worker Category: Marly L. Corporal, Jonafel A. Taduran and Teresita A. Barce
