The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), together with the National PDNA Team, conducted a Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) due to the damage brought by Tyhoon Nina last December 25, 2016.

The PDNA is a multi-sectoral and multi-disciplinary approach of assessing disaster impacts and prioritizing rehabilitation and recovery needs of affected communities. It covers four major sectors namely social, infrastructure, productive, and cross-sectoral. With the PDNA, the local and national government will be able to facilitate the effective delivery of services.
