Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index

2013, Iriga City is top 17 in the Over-all Ranking of the National Competitiveness Index in Cities and top 12 on Infrastructure Development. The ranking is determined based from the total scores earned from the three main pillars of competitiveness, such as; economic dynamism, government efficiency, and infrastructure and the scores are established by the values of the actual data completed and submitted by the LGU. “The higher the score of the city or municipality, the more competitive it is”, is the sole principle that governs the system.

The Cities and Municipalities Competitive Index is an annual ranking of Philippine cities and municipalities developed by the National Competitiveness Committees (RCCs) with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development.
