Work in the City Government Office of Iriga will only be until 3pm today, Monday, September 23, City Human Resource Management Officer, Dr. Nenet B. Beriña announced during the flag raising ceremony this morning.
Early dismissal encourages CGO Iriga employees and officials to spend mealtime with their families in connection with the 27th National Family Week Celebration.
Dr. Beriña said, “Mayor Madelaine Alfelor sees the importance of family in the society and supports Civil Service Commission (CSC) Annoucement No. 53, s. 2019 which aims to strengthen the Filipino Family unit and relationship through meaningful celebration and promotion of Filipino values.”
Other activity that will be observed today is the simultaneous ringing of bells at 12:00PM, dubbed as “Ring a Family Bell,” as a symbol of nationwide awareness and commitment to commemorate the solidarity and unity of the Filipino Family.
